Not all foods that we humans eat are good for our dogs. Check out the list below of foods that are the most dangerous for dogs.
Alcohol – can cause coma or death from intoxication
Avocado – contains persin and can cause vomiting or diarrhea
Caffeine – can cause vomiting, diarrhea and is toxic to the dog’s heart and nervous system
Chocolate – toxic to heart and nervous system and can cause death
Cooked Bones – can cause stomach lacerations
Dairy – too much can cause diarrhea
Fatty foods – too much can cause pancreatitis
Grapes – can cause kidney failure
Medications (Tylenol, Advil, etc.) – can cause kidney failure and gastrointestinal ulcers
Mushrooms – some varieties can cause shock and possibly death
Onions and too much garlic – can cause blood cell damage and anemia
Walnuts and macadamias – can damage the nervous system and muscle damage
Xylitol (found in sugar free gum, candy etc.) – can cause liver failure, hypoglycemia and death
